Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby
A yellow-footed rock wallaby surveys it's surroundings, as the first light of morning touches the peaks of the Flinders Ranges.
Once pushed to the edge of local extinction by hunting and introduced predators - these special wallabies have made a slow, fragile recovery in this rugged stone country.
The Flinders Ranges stretch across South Australia, their ancient peaks and sweeping gorges are among the oldest exposed geology on the continent.
