ABOUT

Behind the lens

It's not really about me - it's about what I see, where I find myself.

I think Australian animals are undervalued and overlooked -
brushed off as 'weird' or 'odd'. Our animals and their clever adaptations are actually the result of evolution doing its thing, on a very special continent.

When you slow down and really look, you start to notice:
the colours and patterns, the camouflage, the texture of spines and fur,
the way each species moves, sounds and fits into its landscape.
Your whole perspective can shift.

Through my photography, I hope to help people see our wildlife for what it really is: remarkable, full of character, and worth looking after.

All images are of truly wild animals in their natural habitats -
every encounter is approached in the most respectful way
and is never harmful to them.

I would never risk an animal for the sake of documentation.
